oh please

progressives..ie liberal..ie globalists are killing america

while globalism does cross the american ideas of lib/con..it is the basis of socialism

that's what the liberal gloabists have been pushing...globalism is part of socialism

look at this, perfect example of todays american progressive liberal:....
""Fascism is a system in which the government leaves nominal ownership of the means of production in the hands of private individuals but exercises control by means of regulatory legislation and reaps most of the profit by means of heavy taxation. In effect, fascism is simply a more subtle form of government ownership than is socialism."" Mussolini the father of fascism

"A Marxist begins with his prime truth that all evils are caused by the exploitation of the proletariat by the capitalists. From this he logically proceeds to the revolution to end capitalism, then into the third stage of reorganization into a new social order of the dictatorship of the proletariat, and finally the last stage -- the political paradise of communism." Saul alinski

"The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of 'liberalism,' they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened."

- Norman Thomas, former U.S. Socialist Presidential Candidate

Zbigniew Brzezinski advisor to carter, bush1,clinton, cheney and obama.....""This is a form of Socialism known as fascism, and it will be the type of world government the power elite plans ultimately to bring about and control. In this government, the power elite will control politicians who will become government leaders who will promulgate laws, rules and regulations favorable to certain transnational corporations"""........"In order to bring about a North American Union (NAU), the public first has to be conditioned to think of themselves as North Americans.(not United States citizens) ... "Zbigniew Brzezinski has been a CSIS counselor, and at Mikhail Gorbachev's first State of the World Forum in 1995, Brzezinski revealed:

"We cannot leap into world government through one quick step.... The precondition for eventual and genuine globalization is progressive regionalization because by that we move toward larger, more stable, more cooperative units."

"The aim of socialism is not only to abolish the present division of mankind into smaller states and all-national isolation, not only to bring the nations closer to each other, but also to merge them." ..Lenin

"...in Brzezinski's BETWEEN TWO AGES (1970), he praised Marxism, and he claimed that "the nation-state is gradually yielding its sovereignty." One aspect of American sovereignty that is being yielded is ownership of American companies by Americans. In the first 9 months of 2007, 69 companies in New England alone have been sold to foreign buyers. Nationally, the French company Alcatel bought Lucent Technologies in the U.S. last year, and in September 2007 announced it will be cutting thousands of jobs. ..."

As an ardent admirer of Marx, Benito Mussolini (1883-1945) called his version of Marxist socialism "Fascism" Instead of nationalization--government ownership--of private business, Mussolini advocated government control of business via complete bureaucratic regulation.

marxism, socialism, communism, fascism, progressivism, liberalism...all part of the same family

Up until ww2, fascist and progressives were the same thing....But they dropped the term fascist due to public outcry and stuck with the term progressive ever since. Aside from being a complete nut of a dictator, Hitler had extremely liberal political policies and highly regulatory government agencies. He even had unviersal health care.

H.G. Wells was of the greatest influences on the progressive mind in the twentieth century (and, it turns out, the inspiration for Huxley's Brave New World). Wells didn't coin the phrase as an indictment, but as a badge of honor. Progressives must become "liberal fascists" and "enlightened Nazis," he told the Young Liberals at Oxford in a speech in July 1932

A) That was incoherent, non-sensible, and largely all false.
B) How is any of that germane to the subject of the thread?

And this is what passes for political discussion these days. Simply sad and pitiful what has happened.

Yeah, you still didn't respond to comment A) so let me help you here: A copy paste string of obscure and unrelated quotes does not make a coherent thought, especially when trying to make a false link between mid-twentieth century socialism (Communism) and Fascism. Also, your Beck style use of the word progress as a pejorative is very telling

It's fascinating that you can tell what it is I am, or what I believe. Those are some slick psychic powers.

Hell, I'm not all that fond of him with a (D) next to his name, unfortunately the GOP has yet to come up with anyone I'd consider a better alternative. The cast of characters that run for POTUS is pretty depressing considering the size of the population.

Really, you don't like any of the other candidates running for office from other parties?

hitler came into power as the candidate of 'hope and change',, his plans slowly moved from being helpful to dreadful..........

simple things like 'nationalizing' corporations, removing the guns from the people,,blame the jews (or the modern version 'the zionists'),,duty of the state(government) to PROVIDE for the people,,division of profits (redistribution of wealth), nationalized health care, ,......,,, DO THESE SOUND FAMILIAR, YES THEY ARE THE TALKING POINTS OF THE DNC AND MOVEON.ORG...............THEY ARE ALSO PART OF HITLERS 25 POINTS

He (Hitler) was also a great orator, very charismatic, and a Narcissist.
Sound like anyone we know????? obama

"National Socialism will use its own revolution for establishing a new world order." ...hitler

"This year will go down in history. For the first time,
a civilised nation has full gun registration!
Our streets will be safer, our police more efficient,
and the world will follow our lead into the future!" Adolf Hitler

Do you support state legislation to: ban the manufacture, sale and possession of handguns?.... Yes....obama...1996

hmm hitler the candidate of Hope and change..and so was obama

Default Liberals, if Obama had an (R) next to his name, would you still like him?

Many of his supporters on CD have claimed O is center/right since I came online here.

Doesn't that make them hypocrites?

I have said all along he wasn't much different than McCain. He could easily pass for a repug except for a few keys things he did.... DADT, DOMA to name a couple.

In general I think he has done a decent job. The R side of him are where I have my issues with what he has done.....

Not ended the wars sooner... but probably because of that he got Osama which is a good thing in my books

I would like the Federal reserve done away with.

I would have liked him to invest in green energy to where it became our new industry. It too could be the answer for weaning us from Middle East Oil.

So there is room for improvement. He has accomplished a great deal. There is no one person that will please anyone all the time. Once upon a time ( in a friendlier time) people would differ and know it was ok that not all their agenda was met.
