False. Obama has never had a filibuster-proof majority. The entire time he has been president the Republican minority has been determined to block any constructive proposals he made.

To the OP get your facts straight IF possible.

Every Republican voted against the Bill........

One Democrat voted against it and EVEN IF all Democrats voted for it ....it still would not pass because of an obstructionist Republican Senate and House.

The Republicans are beholden to Grover Norquist and not the United States nor our constitution.

Though again it's just another misleading and falsely stated right wing troll thread. The un-american right wing goons voted against job creation and balancing the budget in unison one again. OP and others perhaps don't understand that any bill needs bipartisan support to pass the senate

I remember the Republicans presenting this in the Budget fighting (I know Dems didn't pass one two years in a row that they were required by Law to do) and it got shot down.

Wow Harry Reid had "people" in the Senate in 1837? Because that is when the first filibuster occurred. That is impressive, or perhaps you mean Harry Reid had people in the Senate in 1917 when cloture was introduced...that is still impressive since it is 22 year before Harry Reid was born, but not quite as impressive as 1837.

Why should the GOP go along with MORE of the same FAILED ideas and "jobs plans" from obama?

Remember, the stimulus was supposed to create millions and millions of jobs - 2.4 million have LOST their job since he came into office.

Obama had his chance, got everything he wanted, all those great legislative victories, remember?

Yeah, didn't you ever read about the Henry Clay, Harry Reid, John Calhoun fight on the Senate floor in 1836? Reid was like 40 and spry as a whip back then, and he put Calhoun on his slavery-lovin' ass. Then he turned around to Clay, and said ''Compromise this!'' and knocked him out. Remember that?

Another thread with the libs not knowing right from wrong.

They could pass anything they wanted and tried to block out any and all opposition.

There record of failures will haunt them for years to come.

We don't need an 'infrastructure bank', AKA another sop to Obama's union whores under any circumstances.

Besides, the non-existence of any 'shovel-ready' jobs in this country can be laid solely at the feet of Obama, the Democrats, and the envitronmentalists who've got them in their hip pocket.

As long as environmentalists are calling the shots in this country with the staggering amount of influence they have, as well as their unsurpassed expertise at accelerating the practice of outsourcing jobs of all kinds to all corners of the globe (you can start with the energy industry), we need an infrastructure bank (whatever the hell that is) about as much as we need another tax increase.
