Of course there are going to be variations, but that's why I said fundamental, because not supporting right of expression would cease them from being liberal in the first place. Who wants to restrict this surgery? I personally couldn't care less but it is kind of stupid when you think about it. Nazis were into keeping the white race pure through genetics...dying your hair and making your eyes blue isn't going to breed more Aryan babies. Either way, I don't think this is going to be a hot issue or something that gets liberals' panties in a wad.

That might be true, but we still notice several commenters saying they have great dislike of this procedure based on their ideology of "trying to look Nordic is Nazi/evil". If they won't try to stop it, then at least some of them will try to denigrate it as people suffering from racial superiority/inferiority complex created by "evil white colonialists". Some examples:

All the men in my moms family go bald starting at 30. TRUST, if I inherited those genes I will be indulging I every single cosmetic or genetic experiment to keep my hair. Forget that "you should love who are!" crap. I very much love myself. I would absolutely hate being bald though. If some people feel the same way about their eye color, who am I to judge?

If samy Sosa wants to look more white, I don't see the problem with it. Samy Sosa has the right to look however he pleases. If he was doing these procedures to his children, then I would have a problem, but he's not.
