Yes the truth as he sees it. There are some moderate posters on here who are capable of changing their minds and then there are wingnuts who are incapable of doing anything but piping talking points.

That's a remarkable statement, considering the source.

Some people come to vent, others think they truly have a unique idea, a few expect a serious discussion, many come to troll, some like to spew hatred that they couldn't say except behind this cloak of anonymity.

Why do folks go to a political forum? Serious question.

Nobody changes their mind on anything.

Nobody agrees on anything.

It's just one side giving their version of how the world is supposed to be, while tearing down the other side that has a polar opposite version.

This one runs as if there are scripts. I can almost tell who will post a response, and what they will say.

That's not just here. That's everywhere.
I think we can all agree that this is funny. (Note has a bleeped out F-bomb at the very begnning.)

You changed over for Tricky Dick on his way out? Fascinating.

1972 was the only year I ever voted for a Democrat for President as Viet Nam was the sole issue for me.

I actually have done research and changed positions before from reading some things on here. Not that it really happens a LOT though, but it's happened.

I think that when it gets down to it, a lot of people post here to blow off steam.
