MOST of the world is multilingual. More people worldwide are bilingual than aren't.

How many people in the world are bilingual

It's only the lazy-assed, self-entitled, superiority complex ridden people of the world who don't.
Fascinating that is not the history of this country. We have been swamped by people over the last 40 years who don't speak English, many not invited, and your answer is to throw away the country's heritage to accommodate them.

Then again you're probably not even American.

The difference is they did not demand the country cater to them and conduct government business in their native tongue. They dragged along their kids to translate when they dealt with the bureaucracy.

I swear I wonder do some people realize that there are other immigrants in this country who don't speak Spanish and don't have the luxury of their native tongue being made readily accessible in this country and navigate here just fine?

As long as they are light skinned. Latinos prefer light to dark skin in their entertainers.

Funny, I bet the Wampanoag people, and their language felt the same. Don't let me distract you...you were incorrectly spewing about this country's history? Please continue.

You amuse me.

Yes and many immigrants have their children translate for them today. I do not see one immigrant demanding the government conduct business in their native tongue. Furthermore, there WERE translators available when our ancestors came over to help them when they got here.

I used to want to learn spanish, not anymore. Why can't the participate and learn English, instead of being lazy and refusing to speak our language. Its very disrespectful and hostile, yet they want to be American and take all of our benefits!

The Republicans should go on and on and on about "Fast and Furious " and how many Mexicans Obamaguns have killed (hundreds) .
