As ludicrous as it sounds, it's literally true--if the guy had been a dittohead the story would be saturating the media. We know this, because when the deranged loon shot Rep Giffords the media spent a week trying to link it to Sarah Palin.
True.
Giffords shooter was actually one of her followers but the media tried to make it about politics.
This one is a good old oil hating loonbird. I wonder how the MSM would spin it if he called on Beck for help? They would be squealing at the moon that's for sure and the lefties following right behind.
"The tape is 45 minutes long and in it Ortega-Hernandez rants against the government accusing the Feds of waging war for oil. He declares he is Jesus Christ and asks Oprah to help him get his message out."

I wonder if he knows that Oprah's show has ended and her network is in free fall?
who could convince someone to volunteer for prison? Do they put people in jail for shooting at the White house? Who is this guy , Where did he get the gun, from the Federal Government?
Oscar Ramiro Ortega Hernandez -- maybe he got the gun from Fast and Furious?
Apparently he did come to Washington DC for the Occupy protests.
As reports started coming out on Wednesday on the search for White House shooting suspect Oscar Ramiro Ortega-Hernandez, one common detail was mentioned, including in The New York Times: "Late on Friday, the police searched the Occupy DC protest camp...after reports that the suspect might have spent time there." NBC, ABC, and CBS left that fact out of their evening and morning coverage of his arrest.

I still don't buy this whole story. How some guy from nowhere, a loon, cracks off a couple AK rounds from 700 yards and puts em right next to each other on the same windowsill is beyond me. That some amazing accuracy with an AK.
That's a good thought... although the White House is a very big target, the colloquial "broad side of a barn", really.
I'd bet he shot more than twice; wouldn't it be funny if he dumped a whole mag on the place and they still didn't notice until someone found the cracks in the window?
What a picture, Hernandez on his knees to Oprah. I Think he's a gang banger, but what happen? To say he's Schizoid is to simple for me. I want to know why he travels all these states. ...................He caries an AK 47 and brass Knuckles
The kid is developing schizophrenia. The disorder most often starts in the late teens to early 20's.
Jared Loughner, the kid who shot Gabby Giffords and all those others, is another example of this, but his disorder had progressed farther.
The most common thing with schizophrenics is they all believe they have a direct line to God, and they all literally hear voices. Left untreated, Hernandez will be just like Lougher in a year or two.
Most schizophrenics do harm to themselves rather than others. Most don't harm either themselves or anyone else, but it's impossible to predict how they will act as their condition progresses.
I'm not a shrink, but I owned a business that was located next door to an outpatient care center, and I had about 2 dozen regular visitors from there come over for many years. They talked, I listened while I worked. I can spot an incipient schizophrenic a mile away these days. The biggest problem with the disease is the onset is so subtle that it can progress for years with no notice by anyone.
Like the other mental disorders, it can also vary in intensity a lot. Some folks with it are pretty lucid most of the time, and others are delusional most of the time.
I never feared any of them, but none ever came over armed, either. I don't offer any solutions to crazies obtaining guns, but scizophrenics can obviously get them. Hernandez bought his legally, and so did Loughner.
All I know was my greatest fear as a young father was that one of my kids would come down with the disease, and I'm forever grateful none did. Three of my friends from my youth got it; 2 committed suicide after a few years, and the other died young- I believe it just wore him out physically.
Apparently since it's now known he was with the OWS camp in Washington DC, and is obviously not a Conservative, they're coming up with the mental illness excuse for him. His mother says he's not mentally ill.
Yeah for all we know he did. Didn't it take em a few days to find the bullets in the window to begin with? Probably too busy shining up their fancy surface to air missles on top of the white house and training their sniper scopes on some bedroom windows of local hotties to notice.

Make fun all you want but it sure didn't take the Secret Service long to find witnesses and catch the guy.
