High IQ (a meaningless term) is also associated with everything from depression to listening to heavy metal.

Here's some news for ya: the majority of scientific studies don't meet criteria to be published in any self-respecting professional journal, and the vast majority of psychological studies don't even come close to the results of the "hard sciences" referred to at the beginning of this sentence.

Well I do smoke pot. I'd prefer not to brag about my IQ score.

Good post.

People who use illegal drugs are criminals. High IQ? Sniff glue and take meth for a few years and see what happens to your IQ.

Someone with high IQ's would be able to decide what drugs to take, and which ones not to take. I have never done meth, its a stupid drug to try. Cocaine I enjoyed to much, so I stopped. I also stopped smoking cigarettes after a decade of use, cold turkey.

Studies have also been done, that show that women who attend college are more open to alternative sexual activity then women that don't go to college. This again, is attributed to open minded thinking one receives from higher education and mental capacity.

Kings, religious leaders, and people of high respect have all used drugs throughout history to open their mind to alternative solutions.

No study has shown adverse side effects of marijuana use, and no one has ever died from an overdose.

People with higher IQs are more interested in intellectual stimulation than those with lower IQs.
Those with lower IQs are easily convinced by the fear factor that certain drugs are illegal because they are damaging.
