Leaders are more likely to be produced by sane, sober and loving families. Unfortunately they are outnumbered by families dominated by crazy drunk bullies and subservient women that stay together "for the sake of the children." These families produce kids as dysfunctional as their parents.

He made a good point. Which I agree.

Not surprising, the right seems to favor sound bites, facts optional and often discouraged.

Lets see some of your "facts" to discredit Mr. O'neal then.

It was not a soundbite. It was a 10 minute interview.

The fear of his father, until he was in his teens, kept him grounded to the values of right & wrong, he has now.

What facts did he provide to support what is otherwise nothing but his opinion?

Perhaps you could get another, maybe Charles Barkley's available?

Only an idiot, a crank, or a lunatic demands negative proof.

I'm still waiting for some one to disprove my invisible pink unicorn to address anyone demanding negative proof.

Personally, two parents is nice...but I'd rather have one then a criminal, molester, or a beater.

Oh hey, look. I presented as many facts as Shaq did, nothing besides my opinion.

"Just wait 'till your Dad gets home!!" still has meaning to those children who are fortunate to actually have a dad at home. To those children who never knew the effect of this fear-instilling statement from your mother, I truly feel sorry for you.
