Followers come from one parent homes, with no daddy to teach them how to lead.
Apparently in your mind, it's still a man's world and women cannot be leaders.
So, the role of the mommy is to teach her daughters to be subservient and the role of the daddy is to teach his sons to be leaders.
right...someone's been watching too many re-runs of Ozzie and Harriet, or is living in the past (a past that really wasn't the way it was portrayed).
Can you give us examples of YOUR leadership? Are you someone in the news? Have you rescued people from disaster? Have you formed a group to impact something you feel needs to change? How about your sons, are they leaders?
After all, people can't just spout off comments like yours with no back-up.

Sounds like you were raised in a single-parent home. Am I right?
"I don't need no baby daddy" seems to be a reasonable conclusion to be made from your post.
Unfortunately for single moms, babies do need their daddy. Women's Lib has no place in this circumstance.
It's a simple fact that a child who isn't raised by BOTH parents are being cheated one way or the other. That is my view. I don't know about raising leaders but kids need both sides of the spectrum. Both parents bring many different traits to a child be it a boy or girl. They need both to be well rounded. That's not saying one can't raise a child on their own as many are put in that position but it is much harder and creates voids in the child's life. I've seen this over and over again coaching kids, some from one parent homes the last fifteen or so years. There isn't really any blame to throw around its just a fact.

This has been my experience also, coaching rec and select ball.

Sad thought from a person with a mind which shows prejudice against children who might be different from them. If you did coach children you would have found how great the kids act with each other. I fell sorry for you and anyone who has this in their head.

Sounds like another post putting single-parent households on a pedestal.
Just what we need.....more cheerleaders of the "I don't need no baby daddy" movement.
