At age 6? What about when he returned at age 10? Just askin', not trying to be argumentative.

Actually, we don't know that.

The passport records that were obtained for his mother do not contain him.

There is a renewal form she filled out where it looks like she started to fill out the section to have him removed from her passport... but it was never completed and crossed out before submission. So it appears he was not on her passport at that time.

And he definitely would have needed his own passport ot return to hawaii at age 10.

thanks for the correction. she could have removed him from her passport before that time. but, seeing as her passport records are harder to get than a pineapple in Alaska, its all moot at this point.

Having a passport doesn't mean you are rich or privileged.

His childhood and even passports are talked about, theorized and speculated about, here, and of course some facts are, also.

Archived-Articles: Obama's Puddles

Nope, passports alone don't prove affluency, but being raised primarily by grandparents that ran a two-income family, and one of them having made Hawaiian History as the first, Female Bank VP sure does disprove having suffered Economic hardship. Attending Punahou Highschool does, also.

I can't really answer that question. Some people, in spite of all their shortcomings still manage to succeed. I'd put editor of Harvard Law Review and President as things to brag about at a class reunion, no?

Actually you're pathetic calling someone pathetic because they weren't poor growing up. You sound jealous.

How can you say they're hard to get when they proved so easy to get?

The original release of her passport records (the one where Obama was crossed off) was through an FOIA request, a while back.

Dr. Conspiracy has had his FOIA request for Stanley's passport records with the administration, going on 2 years. He's asking for more information than was previously provided.

He did not grow up poor but in a much less privileged environment than most Presidents. Either of the Bushes, Carter, Kennedy, Both Roosevelt's, made Obama seem poor.

Poor people poor children do not go to Private Schools. I doubt he grew up poor.

Poor or Rich does not change my feelings towards him, as our President. Has no influence on me one way or another. He is what he is.

Rich Or Poor, has no meaning to me at all, in him getting this struggling economy back on track, and jobs to all those who have lost theirs, and to those who have lost a home also, my heart does go out to them.

To me it is not just having people believe in you and what you say, it is how you relate to most people, and i don't like the way he relates to people he disagrees with, or those he is in a blame game with.

It is not really the rich or poor, but having common sense, and common ground. And when you try and convey a message to everyone you come across about Hope n' Change, you live up to that statement.
