Can you link to the initial source please? I'd like to know what types of drugs they were testing and what their methodology is.
Did this happen in a year? ten years? How many took the drugs? Are they counting deaths directly due to the drugs or does it count as a death if the guy is hit by a car crossing the street?
Basically, I'm left with insufficient information to determine an opinion.
I hope you realize that already approved drugs kill far more people than do experimental drugs... right? In this country they are responsible for about 10,000 deaths a year.
Both the Turkish and the Indian numbers are tiny.
Anybody who is whining about this is incapable of assessing risk.
