Point? well, had I posted it, MY point would have been first, the mere "History" of it, being as he is our president, and that he made history in such a huge way by being the first black that we elected.

Secondly, the point would have been the most, interesting fact that BO indeed does sound so very different here. I don't doubt that many, if they get to see/hear this one will be very fascinated by it.

I do not see what the big deal is about this video at all. And yes that is Obama's voice, younger but clearly you can hear it is his voice.
What is the point of this.

You know Obama is not my favorite person, but nothing to this video at all.

That's exactly the point. Of course it's the same guy my phrase was in reference to his voice sounding different. I guess it went over the Obamabots' heads but not yours.

Does everything have to have a point? I'm just sharing with the board what very well could be the first clip of our President that was shown nationally.

Nice video. I think you can see in that video why he was so popular. Amazing charisma. The first time I saw him on TV early in the campaign he reminded me of JFK. Same aristocratic (and I don't mean that negatively) charisma & charm. Too bad he didn't take more econ and less law.

I think three years as President has taken a toll on that charisma & charm.

Nice to see that you've become such a fan of our president, Edward.

And I just learned how to properly use 'cadre' in a sentence. Thanks Black History Moment.
To me, his "midwestern twang" always sounds fake; like he's trying to be "folksy." I think he sounds better here.

Not happy unless we're showing our teeth and grinning at you? Maybe he should throw in a shoeshine and a tapdance for good measure.

No this video was done before he went to Rev. Wrights church and was tutored to connect to the masses with the emphasis of a Baptist Preacher. This video does show his skill to read off a telepromter and to recite prepared statements.

Remember our POTUS and his predecessors all have speech writers they just recite the written word and add theatrical semblence.
