As soon as Republicans find out that he's against the Drug Wars, he'll drop like a brick in the polls.

They're gonna nominate the next guy in line, just like they always do. Doesn't matter how pathetic the guy is or whether or not he actually stands pat on one single issue.

That guy is Romney. They don't like him, but they can't help themselves. As soon as he's the clear nominee, they'll all claim how Reaganesque he is and how he's a REAL conservative.

The whack-a-mole campaign, but Romney is lurking. It's a matter of time; Republicans will fall in line and back him.

I have voted Republican since Reagan. The War on Drugs and Liberty is a bad deal. I am and have always been against it, when alcohol is one of the worst drugs their is and it is fascisticly regulated.

Ok....and if that's the case, there has never been a Texas president that wasn't terrible.

Yea, well Reagan was a huge proponent of the Drug War.

But still, that would make you an anomaly in the party. Republicans are slavishly devoted to the Drug War and you know it.

RP needs to run as in Independent. There is no way the powers that be would allow him to be the Republican candidate.

As far as the drug wars, while I agree it's a waste of time/resources, the Democrats should LOVE it. It creates a large number of public sector jobs.

Please. That guy is as lame as they come. And HE IS the powers that be.

Anyone that would allow a bank to take out life insurance on the state employees without the consent of the employees themselves is a crook by any other name.
