I was going to say she was the third most damaging American politician in the history of our country, just behind Reagan and Lil'Bush.

I only had two kids, never used paid child care, so someone else has to tell me the answer to this question.

For most working people at what point is childcare no longer affordable and it's a wash as far as what you make and what you have to pay? Is it 2 kids, 3, 4 what?

It seems to me at some point parents should be thinking this through and not having 5 or 6 if it is going to be a problem.

I thought we already had a bunch of baby sitters. The Dept of Education, your state Dept of Education, your local county/city school board. Head start, after school activites. Pilot program - Memphis TN after school dinner. Whatever happened to 'midnight basketball' anyway. Are we still paying for that?

You have that many kids and it's not feasible. Most only have one or two in daycare and work. With three you pay out more in childcare costs then you receive in salary. I'm talking the normal types of jobs here. At much higher salaries you just hire a nanny.

I thought the answer would be something like this. So, pelosi wants a system in place that rewards people more so than it already does, for having more kids than they can afford. And I'm not sure, but I don't think one person can legally watch six kids as a daycare business. I thought the limit was 4. I hate pelosi and her stupid4$$ ideas. What is up with her? Is the idea to turn the US into a mess of socialist dependent peasants? will she profit from this?

Default Wag the dog

Pelosi starts a flame war between working women and fiscal conservatives to divert attention away from her mean-spirited profiteering off credit card IPO's.
