Why should they execute corporations? And they can always go after the individuals in the corporations, the individuals that are part of the group.

Sounds like an OWS placard statement.

Well technically they could execute the people who run those corporations if the crimes they commit are heinous enough. Just look at Enron.

Corporations are metaphysical people with limited personhood status. I have no object to putting certain restrictions on that status but corporations need equal protection under the law.

Most of the OWS movement doesn't understand this concept.

The big fear by the big banks is that the Tea Party and OWS movement will band together on the issue of big banks. There is a nexus between the two on the issue. That would be a wonderful thing.

As far as corporations having 1st amendment rights, please show me that in the constitution or the proposition that corporations are people.

They're worried about the D & R's working together on getting big money out of government, because they know that decent people on both sides are realizing that it's got to stop, and that both parties are starting to figure out that we have more in common as Americans than we have in other political differences. The minute the campaign to paint "the other side" as evil stops working, big money is going to be in big trouble, because they've been using that strategy to make sure that we're so busy fighting each other that we never take a close look at what they're doing.

Don't go down that road. Using your logic abortions and hundreds of other rights should not be constitutional either.

These are all rights that SCOTUS has upheld interpreting the Constitution.

Looking at the role of the FR and the banksters control on our gvt is one of the places for common ground. One area that OWS misses is holding the politicians responsible and their party. I consider the Tea Party more successful due to the fact they are putting some heat on their reps.

It would be nice if the OWS not only to look at Wall Street but to get in the faces of their parties leaders. Getting all the corruption and games out of our political system is going to take a bi partisan effort. One side kicking the bums out won't work, needs to be flying out both doors.

This call for real reform must transcend political parties. The grass-roots movements of the right and the left should embrace this. The tea party's mission has always been opposition to waste and crony capitalism, and the Occupy protesters must realize that Washington politicians have been "Occupying Wall Street" long before anyone pitched a tent in Zuccotti Park.

Hmmm, banks are considering spending $850,000 on a PR firm that shares THEIR message. The Occupy Wall Street scum have had $$$millions$$$$ of free, highly biased PR from the mainstream media from day one.

I don't see a problem with an industry launching a PR response against a 2 month free ride that OWS has received from the media.

Yeah Fox has been giving them great PR and if you think that mainstream Media is not owned by corporations I have a swamp to sell you.

Of course they're owned by corporations!! Jeeze!! Who said they were weren't? But the media panders to its viewers-Fox targets Right-wing viewers more (as an avid Fox viewer, I think it is safe to say that is obvious), and PMSNBC targets Left-wing viewers. Each try to balance it out by bringing on opinions from the opposite side. If I was a major media owner with lots of money, I would create a Left-wing network and a Right-wing network too.....not because I am a Right-winger or a Left-winger, but because I would like to have both markets covered.
