Here are a couple of good examples of how the double standard works against Christians or any others who don't want to accept same sex marriage. Think about the way the police are using that double standard against those who don't want that thing to happen.

So much for the "tolerance" being preached to us today.

Huh? What double standard are you talking about and how is this a good example of it?

I wonder how I saw in the article that Christians can be threatened with sure death and the police don't investigate the crime. What crime? Why hate crime of course.

Did you fail to see that gays were threatening the life of a minister because he spoke out against them? Well of course you missed that since you didn't read the article.

Do you see anything about burning anything in that sentence? I just wondered since I didn't see anything about burning anything in the article. Are you one of those people or are you just one of those intolerant people who don't care to allow freedom of thought and speech to Christians.
Why do you claim we are intolerant of "Christianity"? Most liberals in this country identify as Christian. Just because we don't accept the corrupted, self-righteous, bastardization of Christianity known as "Christian Fundamentalism" that was invented within the last 2 centuries, doesn't mean we don't tolerate Christianity. You all just don't act like Christ.

Roy, people like you whine and moan because increasingly, you no longer get special rights in the U.S. That's what this is really about. No special rights for Christains.

Um, I did read the "article." It says the police were contacted and that they are investigating (as they should be - whoever did this should spend some time behind bars).

Did you misread it, or are you just lying about what the article says in order to fabricate some example of a double standard under which Christians are victimized by both the gay community and Arlington Heights police department (which is apparently under the control of the gay agenda).

True. It is sad to see Christianity in America deteriorate to the point where its representatives sit down with the authors of such revisionist dreck as "The pink swastika". (Weirdly, I seem to recall "not carrying false witness" rather high on the list of no-nos, but I guess anything goes to get at the gays.)

No, I see special rights for gays and non-enforcement of the hate crime laws. Did you read the messages from that obvious hating person left on the church's voice mail. Somehow it doesn't seem that you did.
