I was raised in a boot camp!!!

I was taught everything a boot camp does, at home. Pride, Responsibility, Dependability, Respect, the Ability to Work with Others, There is a Time & a Place for Everything and how to Defend Myself from Others.

It was my parents job to make me a productive, educated and respected part of society, not the federal Government. Something that lacks in today's single parents and Progressive households.

Have you ever been to a real boot camp? if you had 18 years of a Marine Corp style boot camp then I don't envy you. Three months was enough for me.

Worth repeating.

It is a good idea and I did go to Army basic training in Oklahoma. It took a young alcoholic punk kid and showed me that I was much more. I led the 6 mile runs and ruck marches.Something that I had no idea I was capable of.I learned discipline and respect for others was important to me.It made me feel like I was doing something important and helping out my country.I don't agree with wars or turning people into killers.I just agree with the discipline side of the military. That is all.

I think the way each individual would react to boot camp is hugely unpredictable and therefore would not be a good idea at all to enforce on everyone equally.
