So I just wanted to know, why are countries like Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Canada, Australia, etc... All countries with higher taxes, more social benefits and a bigger centralized government more prosperous and have a higher quality of life than the US? Denmark rates 1st for Entrepreneurship while the US is 5th. why isnt that 50% tax rate stopping the Danes?

People want to believe you can just cherry pick what they see as the good stuff from Europe without having to incorporate their strict immigration policy.

Not universal, but cultural differences can certainly make things go south quickly. (And vice versa, one might add. Ever read about Wal-Mart's attempt at getting a foothold in the German market? Disaster is probably too kind.)
