Hades has no fury like ticked off PTA moms. Here's video of them occupying a Board of Education meeting in NYC--evidently Bloomberg dissolved the elected school boards and made them political appointees. The parents are upset because the board has no accountability to the community now--they can go to meetings to raise concerns, but according to this video, they believe the board walks into every meeting with their minds already made up, and they have zero incentive to listen to parent concerns.

I don't know about your school district, but in mine, if you start ticking off the moms, you're not going to stay on the school board long.

As I've said before--the kids started this in the parks, but they've touched a nerve with the poor and middle class in this country, and I think people are getting to the point where they're not going to take top on down control of the country by big money on any level anymore. This is just the beginning of big changes toward a stronger democracy.
