As the super committee fails, and rushes to write legislation so the cuts arent made, where is Obama?
Conviently out of the country, not leading?
The last I checked the President was securing tens of billions of dollars in trade deals for American companies like Boeing on his trip oversees while the Republicans were busy protecting the interest of their lobbyists on the super-committee.

Check his schedule again. He spent all last week overseas working on trade deals and getting us a base in Australia. Besides, since when is it a president's duty to sit in on house and senate meetings? Plus I guess you missed the press conference today when he announced the failure of the super committee to do THEIR job and come up with the necessary cuts.

He'll make an appearance when his teleprompter god gives him the latest message.
In it, he'll blame the conservatives and act concerned about the coming cuts.
In reality he's probably going to be clinking his beer mug to his subversive buddies, in joy. He and his are the people Rahm-baby was speaking for. He said they never "waste a good emergency." Oh, they won't!
Should there actually be cuts that are felt by any on the left, BO will use that to try to gain some election mileage in his most pitiful bid for re-election.
Behind the scenes there's most likely already whipping-up into a frenzy of the OWS crowd, ACORN types and mindless, sheeple that voted for BO that didn't even know that Palin was not his choice for VP, etc! (yeah, we have proof of this, too)
That's great, when someone starts a thread called "Where was Obama last week" you'll be ready for them! Back to the topic at hand...
Doesnt it seem rather stupid to be out getting us a new base in Australia, a week before the super committee fails to come to an arrangement which will trigger hundreds of billions in military cuts?
Actually, the republican party specifically demanded that Obama not play a role in the negotiations, claiming that he would "politicize" the matter.
And really, are we pretending that republicans in congress wouldn't dash to reject whatever Obama proposed, even if he were just cosigning whatever they just finished proposing?
