They will act like they did with the previous emails and data... by simply ignoring that it happened, or waving it off as simply "out of context" while refusing to even discuss what that "context" actually is.

The problem is that when CG1 happened, there was a lot of public opinion on the side of AGW to which is now reversed. Not to mention, with the IPCC errors, research sourcing and administration behavior, the multiple investigations that are showing to be white washes, funding and affiliations with radical environmental groups, etc... they certainly aren't in a good position.

If they continue to take a fallacious stance on the issue this time, it will be the nail in the coffin for them. They know it too, which is why they are getting more and more desperate. Don't be surprised to see some of the people who have blindly supported them here on the boards become more and more volatile in their postings as they fight with the fact that their cause was a political agenda that is failing badly.

There is so much pressure to push AGW...and MONEY to be had in terms of grants....that there will most certainly be academic shenanigans going on.

So while I actually believe that there is SOME link between CO2 levels and warming....there is wayyyyy too much rush on the topic.

Even more importantly, even if we 100% knew that AGW was real what do you do when most other nations are too corrupt or just outright refuse to do anything about it? Destroy your own economy?

Remember how much crap the US gets for "not signing Kyoto"? The signers increased their CO2 levels more than the US did. Again, these are the same jokers like the EU that can't even get Greece etc. to abide by their signed agreements with regards to deficits.

P.S. It's worth noting that while some of the studies will be garbage, that there is some genuine science continuing on the topic. It would be dishonest of us to try to portray the actions of some as indicative of all.....because politically we've taken an intractable position.

Well...

I have been reading a lot of the emails and they are pretty telling, in some ways far more so than the previous batch.

I was interested to see what the rebuttal to them would be in the AGW world, so I browsed several of the AGW supporting sites (Real Climate, Skeptical Science, Climate Progress, etc...) and there is not even a single response on them.

They are suppressing it. That appears to be their talking point tactic with it now. Just ignore it, don't talk about it, don't engage in any discussion about it, don't even mention it as if it exists.

Add the liberal MSM to that tactic as well. Some have covered the release of the emails, but not really delving into the content, which shows the corruption and collusion going on amongst the players in this hoax.

Some really amazing emails back and forth between the cabal;

Behind the scenes, some of them admit Mann's work was garbage.

this just goes to show that global warming is nothing but junk science.

please do not say it is climate change instead. the climate is and alway has been changing since the last ice age.

all state and federal funding for anything to do with climate change and global warming should be defunded in its entirety.

They have been given a silencing order, don't be angry with them, they are just following orders. You won't see them posting on it much... at least until their talking point sites come up with another strategy to deal with it. Until then expect crickets.

But, of course, the liberal fails to understand that WATER VAPOR is by far and away the leading source of "green house gases".

The clever liberal would prefer, if possible, that the oceans be drained and all that nasty water be sent into outerspace to combat "global warming".

Wake up. "Global warming" is junk science and anyone with more than two neurons glued together with a spirochete can understand that the "measurements" for the contention of man made global warming are flawed and over too small of a time period to draw any MEANINGFUL conclusions. Yet, the religion plods on....................

This is the corrupt mentality of the AGW cabal;

Briffa asks for email deletion becuase FOIA is a “time sink” and an “inconvenient subsequent distraction” | Watts Up With That?

Quote:
Finally, might I ask that you note and then erase this email. I have found that recent enquiries under the Freedom of Information Act, or Data Protection Act, can become considerable time sinks , or the basis of some inconvenient subsequent distractions.
Distractions? You mean scientists skirting the FOIA laws so they don't have to present their data is too much for a so-called scientist receiving taxpayer funds?

This is really outrageous. In case this moron didn't know, FOIA laws are there for the purpose of accountability and transparency when looting the taxpayers based on a hoax.
