Fox and MSNBC Viewers Largely Misinformed: Fairleigh Dickinson University Poll - International Business Times

Fox doesn't make you "more stupid" unless MSNBC also makes you more stupid, contrary to what the OP of the other thread would like you to believe.

People who want to keep most of what they earn are not stupid people.

Is it any surprise that the more ideological a person is, the less intelligent they are? The whole point of being a democrat or a republican is so you don't have to think.

Interesting, I am a conservative and don't consider myself a Republican. The Republicans half let the Democrats and their far left drag America to the pathetic state they are in. IMO they are going to see the old boys network replaced in the next few elections as I also hope the Democrat side will.

At least in the case of voting for one, I wouldn't say so. I will never vote for a third party/independent candidate or even really strongly support them because I would rather have a Republican in a certain office than have a third party candidate take votes away from a Republican. It's a sad state of affairs. I despise the Republican Party in its current state, but that's just the way I've accepted it will be because I find the Democrats more dangerous.

Could you support this opinion? I "thought" up my own political ideology, then searched out a party that holds the same views. Not the other way around. And even then, I don't agree with all of the Republican platform. I would like to be an independent, but independents have no power in our entrenched two-party system.

Wing nuts from both sides of the isles are for the most part misinformed on an whole array of issues. Their sentiments are based solely on emotions.

How many of these threads are there going to be about that study? Cable news makes you stupid? Whoop-diddly-freakin'-doo, what a groundbreaking concept!

Why would anyone watch either of those stations? That's not news, that's political propaganda.
