They both influence the public . I would love to see a NFL where Tebow was the norm .

Being a conservative doesn't make someone like Tebow at all. There is no connection.
I didn't think there was a connection either. I like Tebow as he is not ashamed of showing his faith. The "Tebowing" is mockery and the Jesus jerseys with his number are mockery, but why get angry at the lost souls who mock, when it is clear are simply doing what unbelievers have always done. They will live in the darkness and love it until God draws them out.
Now if he could just complete a damn pass it might mean something.
