So, the Bible is into production and work, not supporting sloth.
The book of morals and civilized freedom - The Bible: a fiction novel, created long ago and revised several times. King James edition, seems to be the law of the land.

Quote:
The Democrats say: tax the wealthy more, then redistribute this to the poor.

The Republicans say: let people and companies keep the money they earn, which they can then use to build their businesses and hire more people.

What is the end result of each approach?

The Republican way ends up with more jobs.

Then Democrat way ends with more unemployed.

What does the Bible say? “Those who don’t work should not eat.”

2Thessalonians 3:10. And in the parable of the talents (Matthew 25:14-25), the person who had 10 talents and made good use of them was given the talent of the person who had only one who didn’t make good use of it.
(By the way, a talent in today’s dollars would be worth $480,000).

So, the Bible is into production and work, not supporting sloth.

How logic, experience and the Bible say that the Republican economic approach is the right one

Wow, never knew the Bible said the way to go is through Partisan cuts, supporting the rich and do anything to gain political power, could someone post the chapter and verse so I can also become enlightened?

"What does the Bible say? “Those who don’t work should not eat.”

That was long before capitalism. Rulers were not elected, but led by 'divine right'.
That phrase could also apply to slaves, couldn't it?
A will to work is of no use if not enough jobs are created by the hallowed 'job creators'. The 'job creators' then decide if people shall eat of not, or possibly die of starvation, with the bible's blessings! Great biblical message!
Another reason why religion is for anti-social psychopaths...and I'm glad to be an atheist.

I for one find the national epic of Middle Eastern sheepherders an unlikely source of useful guidance for governing a modern nation state.

But that's just me.

And that's how pyramids, and the Tower of Babylon were built. It paid to be a rich sloth, however.

Last I checked Jesus threw the money lenders OUT of the Temple instead of making them into a NEW TEMPLE as we have done.

That was the dumbest load of tripe I have read in a long time. Anyone who tries to use the bible to defend modern-day Republican party politics probably has a primitive mindset.

As soon as you quote where anyone said any of that.

That is why Jesus suggested to keep all giving a secret, using a parable that clearly escapes the Christian zealots.
