Everyone uses propaganda, although not to the extent of North Korea. Do you really think the U.S. is spreading freedom dust across the world and helping everyone destroy their evil dictators and communists?
The point is : if N. Koreans only see propaganda, how can they discern the truth?
Likewise, if Americans only see propaganda, how can they discern the truth?
We have access to counterpoints. People living under the totalitarian regime of North Korea have access only to what the government tells them.
Not to excuse the plutocracy we live under in the US, but theirs is an entirely different ballgame. By now, pretty much any of the older generation who were alive to remember life before Kim Il-Sung have perished, and the citizens there only know repression as life. It's Orwell's 1984 in the flesh.

That sounds kind of silly, no?
As an American, I can access ANY information or media source in the world. ANY of them. Including North Korea's.
Were I a North Korean, I would be subjected to the State line- they put speakers in their homes that cannot be turned off. I could listen to broadcasts from South Korea or others on shortwave, assuming I have a shortwave, and risk being imprisoned or shot for it.
Now, why don't you retract that incredibly idiotic statement?

Yep... there is PLENTY of propaganda here. No doubt.
The Seven Beliefs of Idiot Republicrats and Demopublicans:
The Congress "prints up money".
The U.S.A. has a democratic form of government.
The president is the leader of the nation.
The government follows the U.S. Constitution.
All Americans are U.S. citizens.
Government can tax whatever it wishes.
You have to sign up with FICA before you can work in your own country and you are entitled to benefits.
The link goes into more detail and has references.
The point is this : if you BELIEVE any one of the seven items listed, you're a victim of propaganda.
