Can you appreciate the irony in the fact that OWS is asking for special treatment so they can protest against organizations getting special treatment?

After all they dont think they need the very same permits that you and I need to protest on land they dont own.

But they're enlightened, selfless, and want to lead us all from the darkness (typing that made me throw up in my mouth a little bit).

OWS is turning on itself.
I just read their latest GA minutes.

Some are going to Occupy the Kitchen that gives them food everyday.
There are people with allergies, vegetarians, others on restricted diets and those who have religious requirements. They want big changes in the OWS kitchen.

Then another group asked about finances and were told finances are on the web. Seems only a select handful of the powerful OWS protesters actually have access and can see where the money is going. They told these people to take it up with the finance group.

Then there was an announcement to all..stop peeing on the floor in the churches/businesses that are letting them sleep over at night.

Now..does this sound like a group that will sway politics ?

The encampment phase of OWS is coming to a close. Ironically, police repression has prolonged it.

This is just an obvious sign it is ending. The next step is to occupy the ballot box

They are more worried about where they are going to sleep and what they will eat than changing the face of America.

Amazing how quick OWS morphed into an organization just like the organization they despise...

I guess the OWS crowd will occupy the ballot box and vote for Hope and Change Version 2

You mean a primary challenger to Obama? Please, let that be the case!

Obama is only a little more popular in the OWS movement than he is in the Tea Party movement. That is to say, pretty unpopular.
