How many are discharged for Asthma?
Or other illnesses that aren't really that much of an issue?
Or adultery?
Or tattoos that do not meet the new regulations?
Or for a minor offense such as DUI?
It was a stupid policy and needed changing. Perhaps there are other stupid policies that need changing as well.

Apparently you were NOT aware that this general was the most vocal opponent against repeal in the United States military......nice try though but best to know the facts before posting right wing gibberish.

Reading comprehension is key to posting here without appearing foolish. I clearly made an exaggerated statement of what the homophobes said would happen...or did you miss the "memo"?

ROFL...IF you knew what you were talking about you'd have known he was a very vocal opponent of repeal for years; but don't let facts get in the way of appearing foolish.

That is what the thread is about but many posters keep trying to make government policy threads into sex threads; which betrays their lack of knowledge on D.A.D.T. as well as a deep rooted prejudice/stereotype about gays.
