"As is" means no major changes...U like America as it is today...
Since Europe has mainly socialised medicine, socialised education
& 40% higher total taxation ( all kinds of taxes ) ,I fairly characterise them as socialist countries...

As-is today in US: corporare socialism, heavy subsidies, boom/bust Fed driven economy, tons of tax loop holes, no-bid contracts, massive military spending, huge HC spending etc
No, that is not exactly what I want, and to call it "Capitalist" is not accurate.
Like I said Europe has free market economies, so the term "socialist" is dishonest at best, even more than to call US capitalist. In socialism the government owns the corporations and that is not the case in Europe. If you are going to apply the term to Europe, you'll have to apply it to US as well, and neither is accurate.
I am registered independent, and I cannot vote for any of the above because none describe what I would prefer. If I wanted "AS IS", then I might as well vote for Obama, Romney or Jeb Bush but why would I want more of the same?

Exactly. The United States isn't a truly capitalist country. The government favors certain industries and companies, which makes competition difficult if not impossible. That leaves the "too big to fail" corporations with a blank check to do whatever they want without fear of government regulation or private sector competition.

Actually, except for the u.k, the healthcare is privatized in Europe (the governments just pays for more of it, but that's not socialism). As for education... Well, we have extensive public education from start to finish.
You are giving a very narrow range of responses for the widest variety of people. The poll will either pigeon-hole any respondent as either far left or far right using an extremely leftist interpretation of what free market capitalism really looks like. Sorry, can't vote here.
I believe those 5 options per poll are adequate for a meaningful conclusion...
It will give you what you designed it to give you the same as any other poll.
