Merry Christmas! Record Number of Americans Bought Guns on Black Friday | The Gateway Pundit

'Bright spot' may be an understatement. More like a solar eruption. The FBI NICs background checkers recorded the most ever firearms purchases in a day on 'black friday,' Nov 25, 2011.

I am no longer the gun nut that I was in my younger days, but I still watch in amazement at some of the products that are coming out. Anyone who says that American engineering and manufacturing is dead hasn't kept up with the gun industry.

A lot of the new stuff coming out seems very expensive to me. The other day I was drooling over an article in Gun World about a relatively new rifle, the FN Scar 17S. It's a semi-auto .308 caliber, weighs only 8.0 lbs unloaded, will hit a quarter at 100 yards, and has a fully adjustable buttstock including adjustable cheekpiece for use with scopes. Pricetag: approx $3300.00
FN

Nonetheless it seems people are buying. Why, I don't know. Maybe people just want something fun to take their mind off of the rest of the economy. Maybe people think Obama will finally act on his long-held pro-gun-control beliefs once he no longer faces re-election. Whatever the reason, the gun shops and manufacturers are definitely having a good year.

Getting ready for the class war obama has started, in the hopes to get re-elected.

I'm not quite sure how to respond to this. I want to, but I don't know how.

There are 2 reasons for this....
1. Because Americans are thinking gthat if Obama gets re-elected he will move towards complete gun control (as someone mentioned above)
AND...
2. Because Americans are more and more feeling the need to arm themselves for protection. As we've seen in recent times....mob violence...such as the FLASH MOB scenes we have seen played out in Philadelphia, and HOME INVASIONS are on the rise.

All of this activity can be attributed...either directly or indirectly....to the misguided, ineffective presidency of Barry obama.

There is an overall uneasyness right now throughout the country.. Hard to put your finger on completely, but it's there and it's growing. I am afraid we are in for some rough times ahead and I sincerely hope that all the gun purchases are in retrospect unneeded. The feeling of tension is almost everywhere I go, from coast to coast. It's spooky.

Default One segment of US economy continues as bright spot under Obama.

Yes, it seems guns are going to save the country, in spirit as well as in the pocket.

Vive la revolucion !!!
