I don't have to be a "birther". According to the US Consitution...
It says on Mr. Obama's birth certificate that his father was from Kenya. That in and of itself would disqualify him. Why no one has pursued this is beyond me.
20yrsinBranson
Does that mean that Mitt Romney doesn't qualify for POTUS?

Wrong. Minimum required is that 1 parent needs to be a US Citizen if born abroad (and only have 1 year of US Residency).

As stated in US v Wong Kim Ark, the parental citizenship of does not matter on the child, UNLESS the parent was of Foreign monarchy (meaning they were themselves rulers), a Foreign Ambassador or a Prisoner of War on US Soil
You need to catch up. You're about 220 years behind .

because it isn't true. if you read thru these birther threads you'll see that parents citizenship has no affect on NBC status of a child born in the US.
if you are sincerely interested in an answer to the eligibility question i recommend reading the recent congressional research service's report on the matter:
Congressional Research Service – Report on Obama’s Eligibility « Native and Natural Born Citizenship Explored (http://nativeborncitizen.wordpress.com/2010/11/05/congressional-research-service-report-on-obamas-eligibility/ - broken link)

To become president of the United States, you must be a native-born U.S. citizens. Someone may be born abroad, but only if both parents were citizens of the United States. The only exception to this was for those around at the time the Constitution was adopted. Their requirement was that they had to be a citizen when the Constitution was adopted.

Have you held Reagan's, Bush Sr., or Bush Jr.'s hospital records in your hands? Do you question their elgibility to be president? If not, than why do you and others hold Obama to a different standard? I have no doubt that for many birthers, the reason is indeed the color of his skin. For others, perhaps a minority, it is because they disagree with his politics. For those in the first group, I have no sympathy for you and you deserve any scorn thrown at you. For those in the second group, you are only hurting your cause with this birther issue. You should realize we live in America, The great thing about this country is we have the opportunity to vote him out of office next year.
Because he's black and they refuse to admit to being racist.
Hang on! Give the Communist president much more time and he'll get around to that even if he has to "go around" Congress, to do it.
Its apparent that you do not know what communism or even being a communist is.
