Aw sad that your that damn stupid to think all Americans votes count whether they live in New York City or Belle Glade Florida. Republicans just love the little scam they have going. See how it is when Texas turns Democrat then those whiny little hypocrites will be tearing every wall down to get the Electoral College repealed.

You're wrong.

And this is not a partisan issue.

This is an issue that revolves around the shortcomings of democracies. Democracies aren't perfect systems, and the larger the country, the more problematic democracies become. That's why our Founding Fathers designed a republic.

It's always amusing to note that the people apparently shouldn't be permitted to elect the President directly...but putting rapacious corporate shills (if not outright clowns) in Congress, the Senate, governor's mansions and city halls all across the country is perfectly OK.

That said, the party that ends up sucking the most wind in a given presidential election is always the one whining the most about it post election. It was the Dems in 2000.

Still though, the Republicans have their history too. After Roosevelt won 4 terms, they didn't think the Constitution was so great, did they?
The electorial college is good, it is just a goal of the Democrats to stop that because they are trying to grow a majority of Dependents and Government employee union types to get permanent power.

Thank goodness that when the clowns/shills move into the Presidency, they miraculously become so virtuous and above reproach...

So far I see zero evidence. Don't you think you should have evidence when you make an accusation of racism?
Tell you what...let's have that person come in here eventually and say where they meant. Cuz i damn sure have my ideas and you have yours. And i know what the code words "urban centers" mean relative to this conversation about votes.

Again, Republicans fired the first salvo by whining about Roosevelt winning so many terms.

Why didn't they care about the constitution then?

Sure they do. It's called "gerrymandering."

Also, I live in an "urban center" in Maryland so yeah I know how the liberal machine works. And it doesn't have a thing to do with race.

Thanks for the reply.

So it was a false accusation of racism by desertdetroiter. I think he/she owes you an apology.
