"Check out the video here. One of the witness states that the shooter was repeatedly shouting "allahu akbar" at minute 2:42. This video is on the bottom right of the LA Times new story, but they don't mention it in their coverage -- neither does Reuters, CBS news, The Hollywood Reporter, KFAI (http://www.kfiam640.com/pages/BillCarroll.html?article=9494719 - broken link), or any of the other news reports. I expect that this video will be removed or edited."

Maybe in your highly selective reading you overlooked this small, insignificant detail ?

He was shot and killed because he was shooting at people and refused to disarm and surrender. Police took appropriate response. Personally had I been in the truck and had someone fire at me. I'd run them over. Nothing like a tire on your chest to get you to consider disarming...

The situation here is exactly the same found by the Obama administration in the Fort Hood shootings. It was found to be a simple case of workplace violence" having nothing to do with Muslim.
