Conviniantly leaving out fed income taxes, rather not talk about that.

None.
As a pretty well-off guy, I'll disagree. On both a percentage and in absolute dollars the poor don't come close to paying what I've paid and pay. Ever.

By the same measure, I'm ok with that. To an extent. It is the unchecked spending that concerns me. Everything they spend today on the nation's credit card is my dollar - not theirs. They don't have it. I do. We are the ones who will have to pay the tab.

The Republicans have made it clear that their number one priority is to deny President Obama a second term. Of course they don't want to see the economy improve, as that would look good for the President. They put party before country and won't even deny doing so.

No they don't. And the percentage the poor pay in taxes is nowhere close to zero...

Drop the talking points. Research. Come back.

As a pretty well-off guy I highly doubt you would consent to the proportion of taxes the poor pay on their dollars. I could be wrong. I doubt it.

Extremism at its best. Instead how about you explain where the money from unemployment goes ultimately? Swiss bank accounts?

Sorry to be rude, but since when is a payroll tax holiday considered "government spending"?? Please explain...
(you can't... and you're going to realize the flaw in your statement if you try to)

What a dollar of stimulus puts back into the economy when spent on:
you might want to read my sentences again since you obviously missed something.

i never said that a payroll tax holiday was government spending.

what i said was a payroll tax holiday does not address the problem of government overspending in any way, shape, or form.

Of course. Because wealthy americans don't pay sales tax, only the poor.
