Obama doesn’t think he has failed America. He thinks America has failed him.

Obama has not been able to get any of his pet projects through congress even when he owned both houses. His claim to fame will be Obamacare, which remains to be seen if it will be an asset or a liability to this country.
When he promised to fundamentally change America, I don't think anyone knew that it meant changing the demographic of the country with amnesty to illegals and lifting Cuban sanctions, therefore helping to expand the democrat voting base.

He has way to big of an ego to do that. I can't recall a president with an ego that large.
