More or less. It winds up padded into the bills of anyone purchasing medical serivices....just like we pay for the "leakage" at stores we go to. (shoplifting, employee theft etc.)

The second link... what exactly are you trying to prove with it? That Aetna was for health care reform?

"National Journal reported that six major health insurers -- Aetna, Cigna, Humana, Kaiser Foundation Health Plans, UnitedHealth Group and Wellpoint -- contributed up to $20 million to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to help fund a $100 million anti-reform ad campaign that began last year. The magazine, citing two unidentified health-care lobbyists, said the money was solicited by America's Health Insurance Plans, the industry trade group which professed early support for the Obama administration's reform plans before souring on major provisions of the legislation."

Why would they do that, if they were lobbying for health care reform instead? Who, for that matter, do you think was lobbying AGAINST health care reform? Nobody?

Next year, when those 25 year olds turn 26.. will it be reported how many lose their healthcare? Of course not.

I have asthma since 2.
I'm 27.
When I hit 18 my parents said you NEED a job that has health benefits.

......so I did, and though I went through many jobs over the years (lol)..... I've always kept myself insured.

:shrugs:
