Why won't they move to the Amazon Rain Forest or Sub Saharan Africa if they don't want big government? There, you can be free and do whatever you want.
Why won't you stop making ignorant posts about Africa? There are no libertarian governments anywhere on the continent.
In short, you don't know what you're talking about. You've taken an extreme view or demonization of people you don't like and accepted it as the standard. I direct you back to knowledgeiskey's correction.
Libertarians will never be happy because they think they exist in a vacuum, responsible only to themselves. Space, that final frontier, is the only place where they can be free of all other entanglements. Perhaps a term there will make them realize that they are indeed part of a collective, like it or not.
most libertarians Ive encountered in rural areas have not left the 50 mile radius of their hometown.

In case you didn't know, the United States was founded and developed on the basis of Libertarianism: free speech, states' rights, limited government, etc. I think Libertarians would be better off staying here and trying to restore what our Foundng Fathers believed in, rather than moving to some far flung hideaway.

No, they want everybody else to chip in to cover the costs. A good example is the way education is currently funded: all through forced taxation. Federal taxes, local sales taxes, and property taxes all pay for everybody else's kids to receive their free daycare in the public schools ... but it's mandatory that we all pay for this, when it should be the PARENTS who pay for their children's expenses such as education!

Why should we move? I've been paying taxes and contributing to the welfare of the US since 1977. I have a vested interest in the success of this nation.

At the same time not allowing women to vote when owning slaves.
Nice thing about living in a democracy: You can try to change things if you don't like 'em the way they are.
I like it.
strange, the USA is not a democracy, it is a Republic.
