With 9 million gays in America, they can boycott anything and everything and it will effect nothing. Nothing. Let them boycott the Salvation Army...and everything else for that matter. LOL

Conversely, I don't give one red penny to United Way because of their treatment of Boy Scouts a few years ago over the dismissal gay troop leaders. They pulled their funding of the Boy Scouts.....I pulled my funding of United Way.

Not one red cent. Ever again.

You're assuming that all heterosexuals are as anti-gay as you. Fortunately, you're wrong.

You're assuming that every pro-gay heterosexual gives a damn what homosexuals do and don't do, such as boycotting the Salvation Army. The token few of you who do care, don't amount to anything either.

He's not being anti-gay. He's just saying that they can boycott anything they want. Which is what I've been saying. Does that make me anti-gay?

Since when do "cultures" reproduce?

What is the evolutionary advantage of having non breeding sexual disease spreaders within a culture?

What do novel pathogens developed in isolation within the homosexual subculture (see HIV) offer heterosexuals besides a large scale microbial sucker punch?

"Homosexuality exists in proven ratios in all mammal species. Studies, biological and psychological, have shown that homosexuality is a product of genetics, and that it is evidenced, among other things, in differences in brain structure and in individuals' responses to hormones."

yawn...

"There is no consensus among scientists about the exact reasons that an individual develops a heterosexual, bisexual, gay, or lesbian orientation. Although much research has examined the possible genetic, hormonal, developmental, social, and cultural influences on sexual orientation, no findings have emerged that permit scientists to conclude that sexual orientation is determined by any particular factor or factors."

Answers to Your Questions For a Better Understanding of Sexual Orientation & Homosexuality
Yawn....Oh look, you left out the last sentences.... yet again.

Just the sort of deliberately deceptive misrepresentation often shown by the fringe religious right.

"There is no consensus among scientists about the exact reasons that an individual develops a heterosexual, bisexual, gay, or lesbian orientation. Although much research has examined the possible genetic, hormonal, developmental, social, and cultural influences on sexual orientation, no findings have emerged that permit scientists to conclude that sexual orientation is determined by any particular factor or factors. Many think that nature and nurture both play complex roles; most people experience little or no sense of choice about their sexual orientation."

How about those Brits eh?

Royal College of Psychiatrists:

"Despite almost a century of psychoanalytic and psychological speculation, there is no substantive evidence to support the suggestion that the nature of parenting or early childhood experiences play any role in the formation of a person’s fundamental heterosexual or homosexual orientation. It would appear that sexual orientation is biological in nature, determined by a complex interplay of genetic factors and the early uterine environment."

It never fails to astound my narrow little mind when people refer to slaves only as blacks. Maybe someone should teach the history of slavery from the beginning. Big strong Eastern Europeans made good slaves, oh, they were white. And pale skinned, red haired Irish women made good slaves very popular in middle eastern harems, oh, they were white too. And before this country (and some others) had child-labor laws, people would take orphans and use them as unpaid slave labor until they were dead. Neverending supply of orphans. Why can't we just stay on topic?
Wasn't this about gay couples who were refused benefits as employees of Salvation Army?
How does that even warp into a slavery conversation?

Hmmm, no response. I thought for sure a Catholic Priest would have jumped into this conversation by now.
