Can someone find any positives to this war?
Forgot to mention the over 100,000 dead Iraqi's; people in Gitmo; destruction of their infrastructure; destruction of critical art and archaeological items; opening their borders to whackaloon religious...

I could go on...

All of this ire directed at this war yet where were the mass protests?

Mass apathy on the part of the Liberals and others who were content to slap some lame slogan bumper sticker on their car like that was going to stop anything.

More proof of why todays America isn't a hair on the ass of prior generations

If this war had taken place in the 60's or 70's, there would have been a million plus marching on the capitol instead of a bunch of lames texting and staring at an electronic devise

We could have stopped the war much earlier if people had actually let the administration know REALLY how unpopular it was

Why ask why? You can't change history and you darn sure won't stop it from happening again.

And we didn't pull out because we didn't go to Iraq to find WMD, intelligence already said there were no WMD. There are thousands of defense contractors still left in Iraq. That should answer your question.

Democrats before Iraq War started.... - YouTube

Short answer: we went to war in Iraq because, even after the 1993 attack on the WTC and the embassy attacks in Africa, Clinton oversaw a 25% attrition rate at the CIA leaving us effectively blind to al Qaeda activities directed against us.

Thank you President George Bush for taking the politically unpopular proactive steps to keep us safe.

Not for nothing...why did we go to war with Libya?

We accomplished providing a safe haven for about a trillion dollars borrowed from the financial elites. Another thing accomplished was huge profits for the industries supplying mercenaries, materials and transport using the borrowed money. We also, through our unlimited arrogance and unremitting butchery, we injured and angered enough Iraqi survivors to never run out of enemies in the Middle East. This was the most important result of the Iraq War. We set up a system where we would never run out of war and the accompanying loans and profits.

FOREVER WAR = ENDLESS PROFITS FOR THE FEW

This is an good article on the ramifications of oil not being traded in US dollars and why we had to make an example out of Iraq and more recently Libya though this article was written way before we blew up old momar.

"One of the stated economic objectives, and perhaps the primary objective, when setting up the euro was to turn it into a reserve currency to challenge the dollar so that Europe too could get something for nothing.

This however would be a disaster for the US. Not only would they lose a large part of their annual subsidy of effectively free goods and services, but countries switching to euro reserves from dollar reserves would bring down the value of the US currency. Imports would start to cost Americans a lot more and as increasing numbers of those holding dollars began to spend them, the US would have to start paying its debts by supplying in goods and services to foreign countries, thus reducing American living standards. As countries and businesses converted their dollar assets into euro assets, the US property and stock market bubbles would, without doubt, burst. The Federal Reserve would no longer be able to print more money to reflate the bubble, as it is currently openly considering doing, because, without lots of eager foreigners prepared to mop them up, a serious inflation would result which, in turn, would make foreigners even more reluctant to hold the US currency and thus heighten the crisis."

None for us. It was, however, very positive for Iran.
