Well, Christmas is a supposedly 2000 year holiday that was created in the 1800s or so (in the version we know it as). What's the difference?

Almost as laughable as the celebration of a supposedly virginal birth.

I mind my own business and let people celebrate whatever the h*ll they want. I highly recommend that others do the same.

Really? No one celebrates Kwanzaa. We liberals only keep it in the rotation to p*** conservatives off.

Columbus did not discover America and tomatoes and pasta are from Brazil and China, respectively. This is not constantly brought up to Italians.

St. Patrick was not from Ireland, either, but this is rarely mentioned.

Black folks like myself have known of Ron Karenga and Kwanzaa since the sixties. It is a positive celebration of community principles.

So why do some [conservative] folks feel free to drag their feet across it?

If you don't celebrate it, leave it alone.

Because conservatives at the very core of their being are racist. They will never admit it but they let it be known all the time because thats the way weak insecure people operate.
