I won't deny anything, if you will answer the question....never have never will....
You said.....
And I asked you, if that is what you buddy (westcobb) is doing in this very thread....
If it's that hard for you to understand, go get your 7 year old or 7th grader to explain it to you.
Or better yet....
Here,
This entire thread is based of 1 day of trading on the stock market...and your buddy west is basing the entire economic recovery on 1 day of the stock market going up?
Yet Warren did not become Warren by comparing 2 weeks worth of data...but your buddy west can say the entire economic recovery is in full swing because of 1 day of trading?
Was my question so hard that you can answer 4 other posts.....and not mine?

Non-partisan issue? I'm no simpleton. Have you failed to notice celebratory tone at every negative news about the economy and denial/criticism on any positive news about economy? Really?

You're incorrect on both accounts. Stock markets tell only about stock markets, nothing about jobs. There is little to no connection. The little connection you might ask about... well, what happened during and following the crash of 2008? We lost...
317K jobs in August 2008
434K jobs in September 2008
491K jobs in October 2008
787K jobs in November 2008
636K jobs in December 2008. At this point, we were at Jan 2001 employment level in the private sector. That's SEVEN years of job growth lost in five months (whereas civilian labor force grew by 10 million).
What do you think would happen if stock market tanked back to that level today? You'd go celebrate again?

Republicans were in-charge of "economic recovery" back in 2001, 2002 and 2003. They finally did manage it, beginning Aug 2003 or so, riding on the strengths of a credit boom.

Republicans absolutely want a better economy over another talking point when running for office.
Do you seriously think this, or are you messing with us?
Following your logic, we can say Democrats are trying to destroy the economy so that more people start to rely on social welfare programs and they can run on a platform of being more compassionate. Would it be fair for me to make that claim?
Didnt you just start another thread which said the econmy is tanking because the GOP is stopping the tax extensions?
It's called the "I have no clue what I'm talking about, but I have to get my post count up for the most informative poster award contest, and everytime I can bash the repubs I will....no matter if I make sence or not, or contradict myself, I'm right and everyone else is wrong."

Yes. I started that one after this one. In this one, the economy is improving and the Republicans are furious. In that one, later on in time, the Republicans discover a way to derail the economy again and are back on the road to happiness. If my original title of this thread wasn't deemed too hot for C-D, it would have been clearer.

So the market is down today. Is that the Republican's doing ?

My observation differs.

I only mess around with people who choose to. Are you?

That isn't my logic, that is the typical right winger logic. Only the nuttiest of all believe that bad economy would help gain the ruling party foothold in elections.

It has been. You fail to see. Summary (again): Stock market has been up for a while.

Nope, try again, go back and read my question. You saying the stock market is up, has nothing to do with my question. Have you asked your 7 year old yet?
