In first, lesbian couple get first kiss at Navy homecoming | HamptonRoads.com | PilotOnline.com

Heartwarming, just heartwarming. Good to hear the positive reaction to such as well.

What's wrong with doing away with the ban on homosexuals again?

I have no issue with this. If they are there to serve honorably, then they can love whoever they want IMO.

Yeah. Here I was thinking the military would implode at the mere sight of this.

What's wrong with that? Would it be a problem if she kissed her boyfriend? Why is it a problem if she kissed her girfriend?

They got cheered, but the article did say that t ypical of excitement from these sort of homecomings (I've attended a few myself, watching my mother come home), people were generally interested in their own conversations.

I am expecting a few 'BAWW THINK OF THE CHILDREN' complaints though.
