Stop population growth?

Don't give medical assistance to anyone who can't afford it.

The world will never be "over populated". Once a country develops fully, its population stabilizes and then any additional growth is fueled mostly by immigration.

America's, Canada's, and Australia's populations are still growing at a fast rate because we all have the room and resources to do so. Eventually our population will stabilize too.

Well there is your problem right there.

Argh I have to wait to give you a +1 rate. I agree with you here except about Americans being stable in population. Americans do reproduce way too much and entirely too many get paid to do so from Gov't assistance. It's not just for helping out until a person gets back on track again. Not anymore now it's a way of life from generation to generation.

It needs to stop. All we are doing is enabling them to keep reproducing and overpopulating more than they normally would.

As far as education from another poster. That will only go so far. The truth is no one can stop people from over producing but we all can stop enabling them.

You cannot look at those 3 countries without considering the impact of countries due to overpopulation, not to mention the problems with water rights, air pollution and energy in the US.

There is no expectation that the US will stabilize, residents from poorer countries will continue to immigrate to the US and other more developed nations, not a minor point.

Ban fertility drugs. If nature is arbitrarily choosing you to not procreate...don't! Adopt a kid or two if you need them that badly. How can nature thin the herd if fertility doctors are making a fortune and people's egos are so damn overblown that they need to make little clones of themselves.
