Eta: to date it has not been tried in a court, for that matter that it was in fact an OWS'r that raped anyone. Easy, real easy to make an accusation but hard to prove it.
Just as calling the Tea Party racists is hard to prove. Especially since we placed so many minority candidates in the 2010 elections.
Let's see how many OWS candidates you get elected. LOL
Where were their permits? Where were their sanitation facilities?
Why did they need female only tent areas?
Why was there so much theft, battery and arrests for violence?
Talk to me when they act peacefully and lawfully.
The koch brothers paid for all that. Its that simple. The tea party has the backing of super rich right wingers. Of coarse they are going to get all those things.
When we get together, we file for permits, pay for portapotties, we clean up after ourselves and we have a message. Most of all, we have the sense to come in out of the rain.
The Tea Party will be a strong voice in the upcoming election and there will be many candidates running as Tea Party candidates.
Where are your OWS candidates?
In the mean time, we're busy working and paying our taxes.
Don't forget the tea party didn't sexually assault others.
Guess you missed the previous discussions of how there is one tp group now being audited, some groups who never sought
permits, the tp leaders that were arrested for drunk driving and rape (outside of the rally), the congress tp members who are now bought and paid for, as they are raking in the millions not to mention the **** poor congressional ratings. And let us not forget how there are some tp groups through the country who have now joined in with ows as they feel there are many similarities.
So let's all reconvene when everyone has the facts and acts together.
What was the point? For one thing, it got the country off the mindless topic of deficit reduction and put income inequality and the disparity between the ultra-rich and everyone else on the front pages. Without OWS, the following facts wouldn't have emerged:
* The top 1% make 90% of the capital gains. Of those gains, 50% goes to the top 0.1%.
* The top 0.1% earn as much as 150 million Americans.
* The 6 members of the Walton family (WalMart) earn as much as 93 million Americans.
* The top 400 richest Americans pay about 16% in federal income taxes - lower than most workers.

Let see, there have been OWS protests worldwide with people sleeping in the cold, snow and rain in tents and on the ground for months, VS. the that massive teabagger rally that was suppose to happen on the capitol that only brought about 30 people. They blamed the "inclimate weather" for no one showing up (it was overcast and drizzling)
Not surprising the teabaggers are a bunch of wusses that can't even risk getting their blue hair wet

Further, if OWS was making no impact....you would not have lobbyists scrambling to shut them up, the gangster banksters whining stop picking on us, the re-consideration of GS act being brought back into law, the in-direct impact they are making on Ron Paul's campaign and his boost.
Nor would the nay-sayers such as here on CD spend some much effort and energy on them.
They are beginning to wake up people as to what is truly going on in this country, people are pissed and now are seeing just why exactly they are pissed.
People whine and cry, where are their candidates......that is what you all/they are missing, the country does not need one more candidate we have enough of those leeches what we need is reform and how politics is run and that is what OWS is about in part.
Just from experience, most people realize that the Tea Party was neither dangerous nor racist.
But if you want to go with that, be my guest.
