Actually most Americans are and Congress know that; Congress is counting on that.

What conservatives choose to believe is that government intervention caused problems, while in fact, government intervention was a reaction to problems and market failures. Nobody woke up on day and said, "I feel like regulating something." Regulation was a reaction.

On poverty, poverty was far higher before programs existed to relieve poverty.
Right.....that is pretty funny.

Baby Momma Bennies in NO WAY encourage women to get preggers when they have ABSOLUTELY no way to pay for the baby...........haha, what reality do you live in.

Ok, your reply had ZERO to do with anything in my post. Is namecalling and utter nonsense the only thing you bring to the table? If so, save it.

Fact blue states pay the tax dollars and red states spend them. We're getting tired of carrying you freeloaders.

Let's keep it real.

Fact is that we Republicans want to lower taxes for everyone in this nation.

But, for the sake of argument, I'm sick of hearing this ignorant comment. US Wealth is $57.4 trillion, the top 1% own around 40% of that. So that gives you about $23 trillion. So how do you figure that confiscating 100% of "the rich's" wealth wouldn't lead to at least $15 trillion? You must be using some bad numbers.

That $57 trillion only included household wealth, when you add ALL of the nation's wealthy I think they estimate it at $188 trillion. So 10% of this nation's wealth would more than pay off the national debt. Maybe we need a 1% tax on wealth for the next ten years.

And they'd also like to see they country crumble. We don't need roads and bridges, schools, the courts, the police, the military, social security, ect. We can all form up neighbor tribes and put up toll booths for those passing by on our land. Who says you need governments?

But who pays the taxes in the blue states to begin with...the reds of course. :duh:

Here's a hint about the location of the fallacy in your post: 100% of the nation's wealthy live in households.

Would a $1000 each in lower taxes help if someone swindles each American in say $10,000 in some sort of ponzi scheme?
