Oh. So MM is always the final and correct answer.

What dolts you must think people are to simply believe that "Any organization that works to stop misinformation justifies itself." Like they can't have an agenda? Why do you think they target "conservative sources?"

Here's a good, blaring example of Media Matters' sleight of hand "truth uncovering." What a joke.

A novel idea. Stop with faux outrage at MM and use your own intellect.

Raging over GS troops is beyond laughable. No wonder America is falling apart. No civil discourse about even the slightest thing.

I didn't say Media Matters is always the final and correct answer.

And again, any organization that works to stop misinformation justifies itself.
The people who battle lies, battle lies.

And your link, hogwash. If Media Matters lied, what was the lie? Just because you get a bunch of google hits on "palin n korea gaffe" doesn't make it a major news story. You can get a bunch of google hits on "heidi klum topless", but it doesn't make heidi klum's toplessness a major news story. Breitbart may think so, but then Breitbart isn't exactly an unbiased news source.

Time to wake up folks. The radical, progressive left has infiltrated every corner of our childrens' lives and is indoctrinating them right under our noses!
Joining Girl Scouts is optional. As long as my tax dollars don't go to support Girl Scouts, I don't care who they support. They can worship Hitler for all I care. It's a private business so they can do what they want.

Here's the "about us" from Media Matters:
Quote:
http://mediamatters.org/p/about_us/

Media Matters for America is a Web-based, not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) progressive research and information center dedicated to comprehensively monitoring, analyzing, and correcting conservative misinformation in the U.S. media.

Launched in May 2004, Media Matters for America put in place, for the first time, the means to systematically monitor a cross section of print, broadcast, cable, radio, and Internet media outlets for conservative misinformation — news or commentary that is not accurate, reliable, or credible and that forwards the conservative agenda — every day, in real time.
That's not partisan?

They aren't leaving out facts. They are simply focusing on certain sources of misinformation. And they're upfront about that.

The facts aren't biased. The facts are simply the facts.

There is no need to justify Media Matters. Any organization that works to stop misinformation justifies itself. Media Matters isn't a source of misinformation. It addresses misinformation that comes from conservative sources.

You are joking, right? Or have you never been to their web site?

They lie quite often.

I have a lot of liberal friends and I've never heard them defend MM as factual.

They battle the lies with facts.

Nothing you've posted rebuts that.

I imagine that your "lot of conservative friends" don't defend Media Matters at all, since Media Matters explicitly states that the address conservative misinformation.
