I'm not an Obama supporter, but I don't see anything happening here that any Republican would not do as well.

I keep waiting for somebody to chime in about how Ron Paul will fix it. HA!~

Some people had a meager Christmas,...but not the King Barach and Queen Michelle!!!

Now the Monarchy needs three dollars from supporters to get King reelected.

Soros must be running low.....

Happy New Year everyone!!!!

Di you really think that you are living in the days of Abraham Lincoln?

It costs between $50 million US Dollars (USD) and $100 million USD to begin to run for president in the US.

This is the USA that Americans have made for themselves by not screaming out for Campaign Finance Reform. Why does the right wing not understand that that this is the reason giving corporations personhood status will only lead to more money pouring into politics and the corrrupt influencing of electons and policies. This is why the same old recycled candidates show up to run for office.

OP... you really missed the bigger picture.

Do you not think it a little "out of touch" for the Obamas to be begging for three lousy dollars while vacationing in Hawaii to the tune of FOUR MILLION DOLLARS of taxpayer money? Or, are you of the opinion that no one should be allowed to criticize King Barack and Queen Michelle? After all, they do treat themselves as royalty.....

There are some who think that leaders lead by example,...not "do as I say, ...not as I do."

Read the article. It says it all......
If you can't see the reality that every POTUS and their family in recent history has lived large at the taxpayers' expense regardless of conditions the general public was experiencing it's you that needs to take off the blinders.

Seems that back in 2008 a certain person agreed to public campaign funds, then backtracked when he became the democrat nominee.......

The "big picture" is out there if you take off the blinders....

Then he shouldn't throw stones at glass houses.
Don't go dissing those rich corporate jet owners and then take off on worldwide extravagant vacations.

Walk the talk else shut up. That's what makes him appear as a hypocrite.
He does what he thinks others shouldn't do, namely the rich, while he and Congress people live it up in the public eye.

Please provide a link that states that Obama said he would only accept public funds and isn't that what Michelle was asking for...btw?

If you appreciate a candidate that lives by example, why are you and other right wingers not supporting Buddy Roemer?
