I live in Mississippi right now and I dont think this place is any more racist than any other state. Whites and blacks here have a history but they are working on it. I have seen more racism in certain areas up north where the percentage of black people are alot lower than down here.
I don't know about "up north" but you sure as hell don't see racism out here in the west. We have better things to do with our time than sit around unemployed drinking moonshine and lamenting about how "superior" we are to that other skin color.

Southerners get along better with black people because they have more in common with blacks than liberal dogooders.
Californians obsess about a person's color. They often want you to know how tolerant they are, which to me is childish & focuses only on race.
The South is more let it be.

Sure they do, an average American black has about 20 something % of the white blood in him/her. I'm just lazy to look up a source. An average American white has black blood too, because of the blacks who "diluted" their black blood to the point of becoming a white.
