Can you imagine if Bush was never voted into power? How different things would be? We would never be in the mess which Obama is busy cleaning up.
Yeah, cause we all know the Democrats would have wanted to reform the mortgage industry like Bush wanted to, but they just opposed it because they wanted to see america fail, right?
Here's the problem with this report -- the non-institutional working-age population went from 240.441 million to 240.584, a gain of 143,000 people of working age. But the number of employed people went down from 141.070 million to 140.681 -- a loss of 389,000. Adding the two, which is the correct way to look at it, the economy on a population-adjusted basis lost 532,000 jobs.

Buzz word for new government program to dump money down a black hole usually resulting in benefit to some Corporation who donated money or is a friend of elected official
Buzz word for cutting taxes (payroll) that we can't afford cuts in

Economies go up and down, but if Obama is responsible for this "recovery" want to explain to me why the recovery is starting AFTER the stimulus bill is over?
This is EXACTLY what I said would happen here YEARS AGO..
Because the stimulus was needed in order for a recovery to even be able to happen in the first place.
I've been saying this was a two-term process all along, even before Obama was elected.
Unemployment should be going back up as the X-Mass help gets laid off.
And Democrats will be here blaming the GOP like clockwork.
