No. Like with all members of the Armed Forces, a Marine's main job is to implement his government's policy's by force. These idiots made the mission harder, not easier - and that makes them very poor servicemen.

You have got to be kidding if you think this. A Marine does not implement anything. He kills. That is his job and that is what he does. Most of the time a Marine does not even know what his government's policy is. In fact most of the time the government does not know what the government's policy is itself. A Marine doesn't give a damn about "policy". He was sent to kill the enemy wherever he finds the enemy. Like the saying goes "the politicians are paid to think and Marines are paid to kill".
The point of the matter is not whether it's right or wrong, this breach in discipline has given the Taliban a convenient recruitment video which in turn will make our job in Afghanistan that much harder. That alone is unacceptable...it does not matter if the Taliban are much worse, remember that Americans aren't the only ones who are capable of believing the worst in people.

This about sums it up, don't you think? They really didn't think they were doing anything wrong. These foreign people don't mean anything to them - only American's matter. Which means, they'll probably get some kind of medal or award for their bravery when they return home. And this little episode like so many others will be swept under the rug...
...and kids will think Golden Showers are something fun to do after you shoot and kill people for reasons you don't understand.... it sure got Daddy and his Marine buddies lots of attention, so I'm gonna do it and become a brave hot-shot celebrity, too!

I just want to say this to you disgusting pansies that curse the Marines. All of you can go to hell unless you are willing to pick up a rifle and stand on a wall. If you are not, a real Marine is not intersted in your stinking opinion of him, the corps or how he does things on the battlefield. A U.S. Marine is tough and he is trained to do one thing and do it well which is to kill people. That is his main job. Unlike the other services, EVERY Marine is a rifleman first and foremost. You sent him into war to do one thing and that is kill the enemy. That is what he does. What he does with his kills are his own business. If he wants to pee, crap and vomit on their soulless bodies, he has every right to do so. If he wants to gut, clean and cook his kills just like a deer, he has every right to do so. It is HIS KILL and he got it with honor. If people don't like it, they can KMFA! You might curse the marines but deep down inside you NEED the Marines on watch, you WANT the Marines on watch because you are too sorry or lazy to defend yourselves. Semper Fi my Marines!! Yeah....considering Afghans are unlikely to differentiate between uniforms, it is the Army that will have to bear the brunt of the backlash that will result from the video, I'm not sure I find the video humorous.

It seems those who believe that these idiots who did the right thing by urinating on dead taliban while allowing themselves to be videoed are not putting any thought into it.
Some other Marines/soldiers will pay the price by the Taliban having a lot more suicide bombers available.
