-accusing others of being communists or socialists

-people of faiths outside of their own
-distrust the medical system
-distrust the pharmaceutical industry

None of the things you list constitute conspiracy theories.

Skepticism of one's environment is a healthy and necessary defense mechanism.

Blind trust in government, or anything else for that matter, is a sign of weakness and stupidity IMO.

“One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we’ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We’re no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It’s simply too painful to acknowledge, even to ourselves, that we’ve been taken. Once you give a charlatan power over you, you almost never get it back.”

Critical mass, that's what democracy is all about.

It's a numbers game.

We live in the age of quantum maniacs.

This is simply more Bolshevism. Yelena Bonner and Andrei Sakharov would recognize the words of the OP.

The progressive left's MO has always been to challenge the presence of mind of investigative journalists and questioners of authoritarianism.

Most of your list is based on reality because a lot of that is really happening and worthy of observation.. Because you do not see it from your perspective does not mean it is not real or a result of a mental disorder. Do you understand the prevalence of pill popping, drugs and alcohol to escape from reality? Reality, what most people(sheeple) are running away from? Victims of their own agendas is what they are.

Failure to have a productive life is more like it. Most of them have way too much time on their hands and are addicted to mind altering substances of some sort. It is a mental disorder, OCD

No. I don't think it is a personality disorder, new or otherwise.

Public Views of America

Quote:
Views of the Federal Government

Pew Research surveys have documented the historic decline in trust in government over recent years, and the Typology survey finds that trust in government remains mired near record lows. Just 24% say they can trust the government in Washington to do what is right just about always or most of the time; far more (75%) say they trust government only some of the time or never.
Americans (majority) use to trust our Government, before 1960's and there has been a decline in that trust over the past 50 years. Gee, I wounder why?

The Plots to Destroy America

Quote:
Conspiracy theories have been woven into the fabric of American society since before the signing of the Constitution. But what was once dismissed as the amusing ravings of the tin-foil-hat crowd has in recent years crossed a threshold, experts say, with delusions, fictions and lunacy now strangling government policies and creating national health risks. “These kinds of theories have the effect of completely distorting any rational discussion we can have in this country,’’ says Mark Potok, a senior fellow at the Southern Poverty Law Center who recently wrote a report on the impact of what is known as the Agenda 21 conspiracy. “They are having a real impact now.”

The one that holds the most impact was the theory, Hitler is putting citizens on trains; sending them to their deaths, not jobs. That one was so big so hard to believe, no one investigated it and even the U.S. found that one hard to swallow at the time.

So please do continue to ignore the little hairs on the back of your necks that stand up, telling you that danger is near, because it must be a paranoid delusion, not an instinct of nature.

Distrust comes easy, the most difficult is learning to trust and if that trust is ever broken, many times than not, there is no getting the trust back. That isn't a disorder, that is human nature.
